About OSFP
Oakville Sustainable Food Partnership (OSFP) is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run environmental organization with a mandate to support local eating and ecological farming in partnership with the community. Incorporated in December 2008, it is a collective effort that includes people from all walks of life and strives towards the revitalization in the environmental, social, and economic sustainable functioning in Halton.
In addition to c ommunity garden projects, OSFP founded the Harbourside Organic Farmers Market in 2007 and in Spring 2011, we launched the Growing and Sharing Food in Halton initiative with our community partner, Go Local Oakville and with generous funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
We invite you to browse through our website to learn about our work, how you can become a sustainable food citizen and and how you can get involved in local food initiatives.
